For some reason, the idea to challenge myself to making 30 videos in 30 days popped into my head. At first I thought I should wait until “later” with it. At least, until I am finished with my 10 distraction free days challenge. I decided against waiting, however and you can see my first video below:
While I was recording, I realized that today is the 25th of November, so this challenge will actually be running exactly up until Christmas. This really is a pure coincidence; I’m not building up to some large Christmas-revelation in the course of the videos.
In fact, the 30 videos won’t even be a series. I have four different projects for which I make videos (a fifth one probably to be added soon) and I’m guessing that maybe a third of the videos I’ll make in this challenge are going to be ExplorativeApproach ones.
Could be more, could be less. I haven’t actually planned anything out, I’m just jumping into this to see where it takes me.
Even though you won’t find a neat series of thirty videos posted here, I will link to all of them once I’m done with the challenge. Just as proof that I really followed through.
Of course, I would love to hear your feedback on this.

Hey Shane, wonderful idea.
I have the same problem with my English, I need to speak more, I’m thinking to do some videos too, but not yet. I’m improving my writing with the blog, and I read almost everything in english, but what I really need is to improve my speaking, as you said, I want to speak more fluently.
See you Shane, and good luck with the videos :).
Hi David,
Thanks for the encouragement! I just finished today’s video, but it took me waaaay too long. I still have a lot to learn before I can make good videos quickly. But I think by the end of this challenge, I’ll have made good progress. At least, I hope so. :)
Cheers,
Shane
